Job Description

DTC Group is a diversified conglomerate with operations across real estate development (DTC Projects), mining (RQS Mining), construction chemicals (DTC Intertrade), and interior design (VCJ Designs). Managing 65 lakh square feet across multiple entities, we maintain strong presence in Eastern India.

We seek a strategic finance professional to lead accounts operations across our group entities with expertise in accounts finalisation, statutory compliance, taxation, and treasury management.

KRA(s)

  • Accounts Book Finalisation
  • Finalise books of accounts across all group entities
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Review general ledger entries and reconciliations
  • Statutory Compliances
  • Ensure timely completion of GST, TDS, and all regulatory filings
  • Maintain CSR compliance per Companies Act requirements
  • Coordinate with statutory, cost, and internal auditors
  • Taxation Management
  • Handle income tax matters, advance tax, and TDS compliance
  • Manage IT assessment proceedings and respond to notices
  • Coordinate with tax consultants for planning and optimisation
  • MIS Reporting
  • Prepare comprehensive MIS reports per management needs
  • Provide financial analysis and variance reports
  • Present performance insights to senior management
  • GST Related Coordination
  • Coordinate with the GST department for audits and demand notices
  • Manage GST compliance and input credit reconciliation
  • Handle interest demand letters and appeals
  • CSR Compliances
  • Ensure adherence to CSR compliance requirements
  • Maintain documentation and reporting
  • Audit Compliances
  • Manage cost audit and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate audit processes across entities
  • Treasury Management
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting and fund management
  • Manage banking relationships and working capital
  • Monitor receivables and payables

Requirements

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Certification

  • Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field - Mandatory
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI - Highly Preferred (strong preference)
  • MBA (Finance) - Preferred alternative to CA
  • Additional qualifications in taxation/finance (advantage)

Experience Profile

  • 12-15 years of experience in accounts & finance roles
  • Minimum 5 years in managerial/leadership capacity
  • Multi-entity corporate structure experience preferred
  • Real estate/construction/manufacturing sector experience valued

Technical Expertise

  • Strong command: Accounting principles, Ind AS, Companies Act
  • In-depth knowledge: Direct & indirect taxation laws
  • Proficiency: GST compliance and return filing
  • Experience: Cost accounting and cost audit requirements
  • Familiarity: CSR regulations and compliance frameworks

Software Skills

  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, financial modelling)
  • ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or similar platforms)
  • Accounting and taxation software
