Deputy Engineer - Design

To analyse design input and to make necessary correction to suit best practices of tool manufacturing.

To initiate and carry out design activities and to handle APQP & Conceptual design activities.

To support sales team in terms of suggesting Approximate Size, Layout and Time line to finalizing the project cost & Duration.

To lead team of designer and drafts man in completing the design activity.

1. Evaluate supplied part data for tool design & manufacturing feasibility.

2. Analyse given part data and prepare DFM and liaise with project team to get customer approval.

3. Assist sales team in terms of finalizing tool cost by deriving tool layout, Tool type, Process Sequence.

4. Develop conceptual design & layout in alignment with customer specification for down level designers and drafts men.

5. Develope3D design & complete activity in shorter lead time.

6. Organize and conduct tool design review with cross functional team of tool room and initiate tool manufacturing process.

7. Guide Assistant Engineers to convert the 3D model to 2D drawing for Shop floor.

8. Prepare design deliverables like BOM & Drawing and control document & Prepare issue records.

9. Organize and conduct manufacturing review and initiate manufacturing activity.

10.Prepaer and issue Steel Dimension Report to track and ensure all the specifications are met.

11. Prepare and maintain related documents.
