1. Studying a design & drawings in brief.

2. Thinking of possible design solutions

3. Feasibility study where the design will work cost effectively.

4. Using computer-aided design (CAD), Solid Works and computer-assisted engineering (CAE) software to create prototypes

5. Collecting and analysing data from tests on prototypes

6. Modifying designs and retesting them

7. Writing regular progress reports and presenting them to project managers and clients

8. Knowledge on QMS, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP tools

9. Preparation of Bill of Materials of NPD products.

10. Min. Tooling knowledge on Sheet metal process tooling
