Job Description:
Lead, manage andresponsible for Thin Film operation resources, as well as ensure the proper planning of manpower resources. (right hiring to meet fab ops need)
Set goals, track & drive performance indicators for the department and at the same time, ensure good communication/passdown of Company and Fab direction to the ground level
Drive improvement activities in the department to enhance productivity, increase efficiency and improve quality performance
Ensure good maintenance system and process application of the department
Ensure product delivery performance fulfill customer's requirements
Manage production cycle time, work in progress (WIP) and inventory
Drive towards reducing manufacturing cost
Deliver timely solutions to address existing customers needs as well new customer developments projects needs with resources within the department
Establish and maintain strategic partnership with key customers and sub-contractors
Plan & forecast annual capital & expense budgeting of the department to align with Company direction. At the same time, ensure that department expense stays within budget
Responsible for succession planning of talents for critical management positions in the Thin Film department
Responsible for consistent performance across Thin Film department
Responsible to plan and execute career development goals and training for the employees
Encourage cross-Fabs/ Departments sharing/benchmarking of best practices
Encourage inter-Fabs/ Departments to foster a strong and cordial working relationship
Instill compliance in terms of ensuring employees follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Microelectronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of Semiconductor Manufacturing operations experience, with minimum 5 years of management experience
- Possess technical knowledge and competent in Thin Film Process & Equipment
- Proven strategic leadership capability in the semiconductor industry.
- Dynamic and resourceful person with good analytical and organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills
- Prepared to take on challenges, calculated risk and manage changes at all times
- Excellent knowledge with MS Office including Word, Excel , and PowerPoint
