About the Role
Our client, a NPO in community health space, is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to drive community-based initiatives that enhance the quality of life for older adults. This is a hands-on strategic leadership role, responsible for shaping innovative programs, fostering partnerships, and building integrated service models that promote successful ageing and community resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Design and implement impactful strategies to support seniors health, social inclusion, and lifelong learning.
- Program Innovation: Develop new services or enhance existing ones, leveraging technology and creative delivery methods.
- Partnership Building: Collaborate with government agencies, healthcare providers, and non-profits to expand reach and strengthen networks.
- Integrated Service Model: Lead efforts to integrate clinical and social services into a cohesive platform.
- Research & Evaluation: Stay ahead of ageing-related research, evaluate program outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
- Community Outreach: Oversee campaigns to raise awareness, engage communities, and gather feedback.
- Entrepreneurial Innovation: Explore new business models and funding opportunities to ensure sustainability.
- Budget Oversight: Manage budgets, fundraising, and resource allocation to maximize impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, gerontology, public health, nonprofit management, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in program management and community engagement, with a focus on ageing initiatives.
- Proven leadership in non-profit or community care settings.
- Strong understanding of older adults needs and challenges, with a passion for improving their well-being.
- Experience in Asset-Based Community Development programs.
