Deputy Director – Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE)
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director in managing the academic, administrative, and operational functions of the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE).
- Coordinate academic planning, course delivery, examinations, assessments, result processing, and smooth execution of Online and ODL programs.
- Ensure compliance with UGC-DEB regulations, university policies, accreditation requirements, and other statutory guidelines.
- Oversee student admissions, onboarding, support services, grievance redressal, retention initiatives, and student communications.
- Monitor student engagement, attendance, learning analytics, academic progression, and overall learner success.
- Supervise the effective functioning of the Learning Management System (LMS), digital learning platforms, e-content management, and online assessment systems.
- Coordinate with faculty for curriculum delivery, content development, lecture recordings, assessments, evaluations, and faculty development initiatives.
- Ensure quality standards in teaching-learning processes, academic documentation, content delivery, and assessment practices.
- Lead examination and evaluation processes, including assessments, reassessments, result declaration, and resolution of academic discrepancies.
- Support strategic planning, quality assurance, accreditation, audits, regulatory reporting, data analysis, interdepartmental coordination, and process improvement initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master's Degree in Management/ Commerce/Computer Applications discipline.
- Associate Professor/Professor.
- Experience in Online/Distance Education, Academic Administration, LMS Operations, or Higher Education Management will be preferred.
