Role Purpose

Drive strategic planning, business insights, and performance tracking to support leadership decision-making. The role focuses on translating business goals into actionable plans, tracking execution, and enabling data-driven strategy across distribution and operations.


Key Responsibilities

1. Business Planning & Budgeting

  • Support annual operating plan (AOP) and long-range planning (LRP) exercises
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and finance teams to build business plans (premium, cost, productivity)
  • Develop bottom-up and top-down forecasts across channels (agency, banca, digital)
  • Track variance vs plan and identify corrective actions

2. Strategy Development

  • Support formulation of business strategy aligned to company growth objectives
  • Conduct market sizing, competitor benchmarking, and opportunity analysis
  • Build strategic initiatives across customer lifecycle (acquisition, retention, productivity)
  • Assist leadership in evaluating new business opportunities / partnerships

3. Performance Management & Governance

  • Design and manage business dashboards for leadership (sales, persistency, productivity, cost ratios)
  • Track key KPIs and provide actionable insights to leadership and business heads
  • Drive monthly/quarterly business reviews with structured insights and recommendations
  • Identify early warning signals and highlight risks

4. Data Analytics & Insights

  • Perform deep-dive analysis on sales performance, channel efficiency, and customer behavior
  • Translate data into clear business narratives for leadership communication
  • Identify drivers of growth and leakages (conversion, attrition, productivity gaps)
  • Work with data teams to improve reporting automation and accuracy

5. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Partner with Finance, HR, Distribution, and Operations teams to drive strategic initiatives
  • Track key transformation projects and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Facilitate execution of strategic programs through structured governance frameworks

6. Leadership & Executive Communication

  • Prepare CEO/leadership presentations, board decks, and strategic updates
  • Communicate complex insights in a simple, structured, and impactful manner
  • Support leadership decision-making through scenario analysis and business cases
