Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Deputy Area Manager to join a sales team. The purpose of this role is to design and implement a sales plan and expand the company's customer base. You will act as a Key Account Manager, responsible for generating business, achieving targets, and enhancing profitability.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development: Design and implement the sales plan to expand the customer base. You will generate new business, achieve AOP (Annual Operating Plan) targets, and work to reduce discounts and enhance profitability.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on the business environment, technology trends, competitor products, and strategies. You will identify new and emerging markets to develop new business opportunities for Injection Molding Machines.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Visit customers regularly to ensure strong relationships and convert them into repeat customers. You will also be responsible for developing a new customer base, reviving dormant customers, and winning over competitors customers.
  • Sales Process Execution: Understand customer requirements, ensure the right machine sizing and selection, and ensure the timely submission of quotations. You will be responsible for following up on quotations to convert them into business and ensuring the timely delivery and installation of machines.
  • Revenue and Profitability: Drive revenue for the company while ensuring the collection of balance payments for machines.

Skills Required

  • Experience: A strong background in a sales environment with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Sales & Business Acumen: The ability to identify emerging markets and business opportunities.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Proven experience in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of IM (Injection Molding) or machines is essential.
  • System Proficiency: Basic understanding of Salesforce and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to solve problems and make decisions to ensure a smooth sales process.
