Deposition Process Technologist Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct process engineering research, development, and evaluation from pilot plant to full-scale manufacturing.
• Review processing techniques and methods applied in semiconductor fabrication and product evaluation.
• Conceive and plan projects involving new concepts, approaches, or processes.
• Support customer technology managers in planning, data collection, analysis, and reporting for customer demos and process defense.
• Utilize simulation tools such as Sem3D (MAPD) and AI/ML-based tools to drive process development strategies.
• Analyze process data to improve performance, yield, and efficiency using JMP and other analytical tools.
• Collaborate with Concept & Feasibility (C&F) teams to adopt new process innovations and align with technology roadmaps.
• Demonstrate and introduce new technologies at customer sites, supporting tool evaluations and adoption.
• Act as single point of contact for process, hardware, and software-related customer requests, coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Lead, mentor, and coach junior and senior process engineers to ensure successful engagement and achievement of Lam deposition objectives.
• Prepare and present technical review materials for key projects and customer interactions.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and professionally represent the company, identifying additional customer needs.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics with 5+ years, M.S. with 8+ years, or B.S. with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in deposition process development for advanced semiconductor technology nodes.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills to lead cross-functional teams and multiple customer accounts.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for technical reviews and customer interactions.
