Deployment & Integration Engineer - Cloud Platform
A highly skilled Deployment and Integration Engineer is sought, specializing in MCPTX/IMS within cloud platform environments. This role requires extensive expertise in telecommunications operations and deployment, particularly with IMS applications. You will be responsible for overseeing deployments, ensuring the health and maintenance of critical network elements, and providing advanced troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud platform operation and deployment skills are essential for overseeing IMS application operations and deployment in cloud platform environments, including public cloud.
- IMS application maintenance abilities are critical for regular health checks and maintenance of IMS applications and their associated servers.
- Backup and restore capabilities for IMS applications are required.
- Issue escalation proficiency is necessary for escalating unresolved issues to vendors or customers, providing clear issue descriptions, logs, findings, and troubleshooting steps.
- Mission-critical network element management skills are vital for effectively managing these components.
- New feature implementation and system software & application patch upgrade as per plan are key responsibilities.
- Level-2 troubleshooting expertise is required for issues observed or escalated.
- Method of Procedure (MOP) creation is an important aspect of the role.
- Coordination with technical support teams will be provided, ensuring effective follow-up.
Technical Skill Requirements
- Deep knowledge of IMS network and functionality of products like PCRF, SBC, CSCF, TAS is mandatory.
- Familiarity with IMS, VoLTE call flows, LTE network, and interfaces is required.
- Strong IP network knowledge is essential.
- Good troubleshooting skills are a must.
- Familiarity with all troubleshooting tools is necessary.
- Experience with IMS testing is required.
- Excellent hands-on experience on Linux Container-based architecture on various commercial platforms such as Redhat OpenShift, Openstack, or VMware is desired. Any experience with public cloud platforms like AWS/Azure is an added plus.
- Good Communication skills and willingness to travel and experience about customer network are vital.
Education
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication is required.
