As a Deployment Engineer Mechatronics, you will be responsible for physical deployment, calibration, testing, and field readiness of ERIC Robotics robotic systems.
This role focuses on mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical integration during real-world deployments and pilots.
This is a hands-on field engineering role, not a desk-only position.
Key Responsibilities
1. Hardware & Mechanical Deployment
- Assemble and deploy robotic systems at client sites.
- Perform mechanical fitment, alignment, and mounting.
- Handle wiring, connectors, sensors, and actuators during deployment.
- Ensure system robustness under vibration, dust, and environmental conditions.
2. Calibration & Testing
- Perform sensor calibration:
- Validate:
- Mechanical motion
- Sensor alignment
- System stability
- Support field testing and acceptance trials.
3. Troubleshooting & Field Support
- Diagnose and resolve:
- Mechanical failures
- Electrical issues
- Connector, cable, or mounting problems
- Coordinate with:
- Software deployment engineers
- Design and manufacturing teams
- Provide structured field feedback for design improvements.
4. Documentation & SOPs
- Create and follow:
