For our office in Trivandrum, dSPACE is looking for creative and motivated professionals. You will be part of an ambitious and highly motivated team that is building and delivering a series of products in the simulation and testing domain. As a Department Head, you will be responsible for a department and will monitor processes, tasks, projects, groups, and their continuous development. As the whole segment is developing according to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), you will ensure effective collaboration and the growth of team members. Your Tasks

• Coordinate, lead, and manage medium, large, and cross-functional projects and groups and provide leadership to professionals at the group level
• Assume business and cost responsibility, ensuring results from an effectiveness and efficiency perspective in work processes
• Define and implement departmental strategies and initiatives, taking responsibility for shaping the content of the department
• Provide control and decision-making on technical issues
• Perform disciplinary management of predominantly of professionals at group level
• Be strongly involved in the further development of the project management and/or portfolio management processes
• Enhance framework conditions related to product quality and teamwork
• Represent the topics internally across all divisions and hierarchy levels

Your Profile

• You have a B.Tech/M.Tech university degree in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication
• You have a minimum of 18 years of professional experience
• You have proven experience in product design and development as well as people management, preferably in complex, cross-functional environments within the automotive domain
• You possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to motivate Group managers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Development teams
• You are an excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management capabilities, high empathy and can motivate others
• You demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strong enthusiasm for agility, change management, and team development
