Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Patient Interaction

• Greet patients warmly in person and over the phone.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using dental software.
• Provide basic information about services, insurance, and policies.
• Ensure the waiting area is clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

Administrative Tasks

• Maintain patient records: input, update, and retrieve data as needed.
• Manage intake forms and consent documents.
• Prepare and send invoices, process payments, and handle billing inquiries.
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow.

Insurance & Billing

• Verify insurance eligibility and coverage.
• Submit insurance claims and follow up on unpaid claims.
• Explain billing procedures and assist patients with payment plans.

Communication

• Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
• Remind patients of upcoming appointments and recall visits.
• Relay messages between patients and clinical staff accurately.

Compliance & Confidentiality

• Adhere to HIPAA or local privacy regulations.
• Ensure all paperwork and procedures follow dental office protocols.
