Dental Billing Professional | Payment Posting & AR Follow-Up | Noida Sector-62

Accounting Bridge is looking for a Dental Billing Professional with expertise in Payment Posting and Accounts Receivable (AR) Follow-Up to join our growing Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. About the Role

As a Dental Billing Professional, you will own two core parts of the revenue cycle: payment posting and AR follow-up. You will accurately post insurance and patient payments, interpret EOBs and ERAs, and reconcile daily deposits, then follow up on outstanding claims and patient balances, resolve denials and underpayments, and drive timely collections. This role requires a strong understanding of the dental billing cycle, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with the Billing team to resolve claim and payment-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and write-offs into the dental billing software.
• Review and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advice) to apply payments, contractual adjustments, denials, and patient responsibility correctly.
• Perform daily reconciliation of bank deposits and ERA/EFT payments with postings; identify unapplied payments and variances, and escalate where necessary.
• Review aging reports and prioritize outstanding insurance claims by age, payer, and balance.
• Follow up with insurance carriers through payer portals, phone, and email on unpaid, pending, rejected, and denied claims.
• Analyze denials, correct and resubmit claims, and file appeals with supporting documentation within payer timelines.
• Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and coordination of benefits (COB) where it affects claim payment.
• Contact patients regarding outstanding balances and document all communication in the billing system.
• Document every posting and follow-up action clearly in account notes.
• Identify denial and payment trends and escalate recurring issues to the Billing team.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy while meeting daily productivity, AR reduction, and quality targets.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, HIPAA, and client-specific guidelines.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in dental billing within Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), with proven expertise in both Payment Posting and AR follow-up.
• Strong understanding of EOBs, ERAs, insurance payment processing, contractual adjustments, denial posting, and appeals.
• Working knowledge of the insurance claim lifecycle and coordination of benefits.
• Familiarity with dental procedure codes (CDT) and insurance plan coverage rules is an advantage.
• Good analytical and reconciliation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to work with dental billing software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette with payers and patients.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
