Denodo Platform Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for a Mid-Level Denodo Platform Administrator with about 5 years of experience to install, configure, and manage our Denodo logical data fabric. You will take ownership of cluster management, cache database administration, and platform security. Key Responsibilities

 •  Install, configure, and maintain the Denodo Platform, including the Virtual DataPort (VDP) server and Solution Manager.

 •  Administer and monitor Denodo server clusters, managing load balancing, CPU/memory utilization, and platform scaling.

 •  Configure and manage Denodo cache databases, optimizing cache performance and troubleshooting synchronization issues.

 •  Manage user authentication, authorization, and role-based access control (RBAC), integrating with enterprise SAML/LDAP/SSO solutions.

 •  Monitor system performance, configure alerts, and conduct root-cause analysis for query execution bottlenecks or server incidents.

 •  Support release orchestration via Solution Manager, migrating virtual data models between environments under strict ITIL Change Management protocols.

Core Technical Skills

 •  5+ years of platform administration experience, with a strong focus on installing and managing the Denodo Platform.

 •  Deep understanding of server-level performance tuning, JVM optimization, and cache database management.

 •  Experience configuring secure connections (JDBC/ODBC, REST APIs, SSL/TLS) between Denodo and underlying data stores (e.g., Snowflake, APIs).

 Methodology & Best Practices

 •  Solid grasp of ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management procedures.

 •  Experience executing quarterly system health checks, user access reviews, and disaster recovery drills.

•  Anticipates infrastructure bottlenecks and proactively resolves them

Preferred Skills 

 •  Active Denodo Certified Administrator credential.

 •  Experience in the life sciences sector, handling GxP compliant infrastructure.

 •  Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost monitoring for data services.

Soft Skills

 •  Excellent communication skills, capable of coordinating complex maintenance windows with global BI and AI teams.

 •  Reliable and composed under pressure, providing steady support during weekend on-call escalations.
