Role Description
The Demi Chef De Partie will be responsible for assisting in food preparation and the management of specific kitchen sections under the guidance of the Chef De Partie. Key tasks include preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring kitchen hygiene standards, and maintaining inventory of ingredients. Collaboration with the culinary team to create innovative menus is integral to the role. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon.
Qualifications
- Culinary skills, including proficiency in food preparation techniques and experience in creating diverse dishes
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the culinary team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and creativity in menu development
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or fine-dining setup
- Formal culinary training or a diploma from a recognized institute is a plus
- Passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional dining experiences
