Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) – Continental
Role Summary
The DCDP supports the CDP in managing a section and is responsible for preparing dishes under
supervision.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the CDP in food preparation and cooking
• Handle basic cooking tasks and mise en place
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the station
• Follow recipes and presentation standards
• Help in training Commis chefs
• Step up in absence of CDP when needed
Skills & Requirements
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Continental cooking
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Experience: 1–3 years
