Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end demand planning and forecasting activities for retail or consumer businesses
Develop, review, and maintain statistical and judgmental demand forecasts across product categories
Analyze historical sales, promotions, seasonality, and market trends to improve forecast accuracy
Collaborate with sales, marketing, merchandising, and supply chain teams to align demand plans
Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycles
Monitor and improve forecast accuracy, bias, and service level KPIs
Identify demand risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions
Incorporate inputs from promotions, new product launches, and lifecycle changes into forecasts
Provide insights and recommendations to support inventory optimization and availability
Build and maintain demand planning reports and dashboards
Support UAT, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization for planning tools
Act as a subject-matter expert for demand planning best practices and methodologies
Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and analytics

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or Supply Chain Analytics
Strong domain expertise in Retail, FMCG, or Consumer supply chains
Proven experience in forecast modeling, accuracy measurement, and bias analysis
Hands-on experience supporting S&OP / IBP processes
Strong analytical skills and data interpretation capabilities
Experience working with cross-functional business teams
Ability to communicate complex planning insights to stakeholders
Experience working in Agile or project-based delivery environments

Education Qualification
