Role: - Power Platform Senior Developer

Job Summary

Design, develop Power Automate workflows including the creation of triggers, actions, conditions, and loops to automate business processes. Create and configure connectors and integrations between various systems and applications to enable data flow and automation. Power Shell scripting is preferred as well.

Also, we should have experience to work on remediating Client Microsoft Power Platform assetsincluding PowerApps, Power Flows, Power Pages, Power Shell Scripting, Copilots Studio Agents, and Power BI gateway connections and serversto ensure compliance with the Power Platform Governance Framework, improve operational readiness, and enhance platform sustainability.

  • Scope of Work

2.1 For all PowerApps/Flows/Copilots Studio Agents/Pages

  • Ownership Validation
    • Identify and document owners, business purpose, LOB, region, impact, and data classification for all QBE's Power Apps/Flows/Agents/ Pages.
    • Reassign ownership for orphaned Power Apps/Flows/Agents/ Pages and apply metadata tags.
    • Outcome: Complete ownership registry and metadata tagging for all active Power Apps/Flows/Copilots/ Pages
  • Policy Compliance Assessment
    • Evaluate Power Apps/Flows/Agents/Pages against Client governance framework & policies (DLP, naming, data residency).
    • Identify and document remediation steps for:
      • Non-approved connectors
      • Broad or guest sharing
      • Inactive apps (90+ days)
      • Power Apps/Flows/Agents/Pages needing security, architecture, or branding updates
      • Power Apps/Flows/Agents that require reassignment to appropriate environments
      • Client brand logo updates
      • Others
  • Outcome: Compliance report and documented remediation actions.
  • Backend System Assessment
    • Assess backend systems (SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL) for performance and compliance for each Power Apps/Flows/Agents/Pages.
    • Outcome: Backend compliance report and remediation plan.
  • Operational Readiness
    • Validate Service Introduction Checklist completion for Power Apps/Flows/Agents/Pages.
    • Ensure CMDB entries, ALM pipeline setup, and support documentation has been completed if not update and complete.
    • Outcome: Operational readiness report and checklist completion.
  • Remediation Execution
    • Update Power Apps/Flows/Agents/Pages identified in compliance assessments.
    • Outcome: Updated Power Apps/Flows/Agents/Pages aligned with governance and security standards.
  • Cleanup Activities
    • Delete/archive unused environments, DLP policies, and connections.
    • Outcome: Cleaned-up Power Platform environment.
2.2 For all PowerBI Gateways servers

  • Deploy new Power BI Gateway servers
    • Provision new gateway servers on Windows Server 2022 or Azure-hosted VMs using Terraform. using the latest Azure configurations and supported OS versions.
    • Configure enterprise-grade clustering and high availability.
    • Apply security hardening (TLS, certificates, firewall rules).
    • Outcome: Modern, secure, and scalable gateway infrastructure aligned with current platform standards.
  • Migrate all active connections.
    • Inventory and validate all existing connections.
    • Migrate connections to new gateway servers from legacy gateways to the new infrastructure.
    • Perform post-migration testing and validation.
    • Implement proactive ing and diagnostics.
    • Outcome: All active connections successfully migrated and operational on modern infrastructure.
  • Legacy Decommissioning
    • Retire outdated and unsupported gateway infrastructure.
    • Remove 133 personal gateways and consolidate into enterprise gateways.
    • Outcome: Legacy infrastructure fully retired, reducing technical debt and improving manageability.
    • Deliverables
    • Document an Ownership registry for all Power Apps/Flows/Agents/Pages/Gateway connections
    • Compliance assessment reports created for all Power Apps/Flows/Agents/Pages
    • Remediation action logs created for all Power Apps/Flows/Agents/Pages/Gateway Servers and Connections
    • Updated and compliant apps, flows, bots, pages, gateway servers and connections
    • Cleaned-up environments and configurations for all Power Apps/Flows/ Agents/Pages/Gateway servers and connections
    • Operational readiness documentation for Power Apps/Flows/ Agents/Pages/Gateway servers and connections
