Role: Boomi Integration Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Integration Design & Development
• Design and develop custom integrations, processes, and connectors within the Dell Boomi platform.
• Build and deploy integration processes using Boomi's visual interface and tools.
• Develop custom connectors for integration with third-party applications and services using the Boomi SDK.
• Technical Analysis & Optimization
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization of existing integrations and connectors.
• Maintain, enhance, and improve the performance of current integration processes.
• Collaboration & Support
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to gather integration requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Provide deployment support and assist in post-deployment activities.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards for Boomi integration solutions.
• Documentation
• Document integration designs, implementation procedures, and related technical artifacts for ongoing support and knowledge sharing.

Technical Skills Required

• Dell Boomi Expertise
• Strong experience with the Boomi platform, including Boomi Flow, Atoms, and Process execution.
• Experience in designing, building, and deploying integration processes in Boomi.
• Connector Development
• Proven ability to create and deploy custom connectors using the Boomi SDK.
• Integration Proficiency
• Experience integrating cloud applications (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday) with on-premise systems.
• Expertise in data mapping and transformation using Boomi's tools.
• API & Scripting Skills
• Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services for integration.
• Ability to write and use custom scripts (Groovy, JavaScript) to extend process functionality.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Boomi API Management and Boomi Integration Hub.
• Familiarity with middleware and other cloud integration tools.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with SaaS applications and enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with other integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.) is a plus.
