Responsibilities:
- Lead the AIPS East team to operational excellence by managing daily operations, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring timely delivery across AI infrastructure and application pillars.
- Support Generative AI adoption in healthcare by providing technical assistance to Discovery and Enablement teams, enabling rapid solution development.
- Define and communicate AI product vision and roadmaps aligned with business goals, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure high-impact development.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a learning-oriented, collaborative, and high-performance culture within the AI team.
- Ensure seamless integration of AI solutions into enterprise systems, coordinating with technical leads and business stakeholders.
- Actively participate in planning and executing AI-powered applications, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, address project roadblocks, and ensure projects deliver expected business outcomes.
About the AI Platforms and Services (AIPS) Team:
- Functions as an internal service provider delivering AI infrastructure and solutions.
- Comprises four pillars: Secure AI Platforms, AI Applications, Foundational Components, and Integration Services.
- Collaborates with business units to identify AI opportunities, design, and implement solutions.
- Maintains a collaborative, innovative, and growth-focused team culture.
- Supports professional development via training and knowledge-sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 7-9 years in data science, software engineering, or related roles, with at least 2 years in technical leadership.
- Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Proven success in leading complex AI/ML projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML, including Generative AI, with the ability to evaluate different models and approaches.
