Job Description

Role: Data Engineer

Location : Mumbai/Bangalore/Hyderabad

Who are we looking for

• Role Overview: The Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines hosted on AWS data services and Snowflake, proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and ThoughtSpot is must. Proficiency in Python.
  
  

Key Requirements

Design & Develop Pipelines:

• Build and optimize data pipelines using AWS services (e.g., Glue, Lambda, EMR, Step Functions, Data Pipeline).
  

ETL Processes

• Implement robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows for structured and unstructured data.
  

Data Integration

• Integrate data from various sources (databases, APIs, files) into centralized data lakes or warehouses.
  

Automation

• Automate data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes.
  

Cloud Expertise

• Hands-on experience with AWS data services (Glue, S3, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Kinesis, Athena).
  

Programming

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and optionally Java.
  

Data Modeling

• Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and lakehouse concepts.
  

ETL Tools

• Experience with ETL frameworks and orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, Spark, Trino).
  

DevOps

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• MUST: 7+ years of experience in the role of Data engineer.
• MUST: BE/ME degree in Computer Science from a reputed university/college. Can consider non-CS degrees if there is strong relevant experience.
