Job Summary - Senior QA/ with Strong Manual/Functional/testing experience with minimum of 6-8 yrs of Strong Guidewire testing experience in GW Policy Centre, Billing Centre, Claim Centre
Location Preference - Any (Offshore)

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of insurance processes.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) , Document Management apps, Portal Pega.
- GW Certification skills Mandatory (Insurance Suite Analyst)
- Jira & Confluence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for Business stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into UAT test scenarios& cases.
Core Responsibilities
- Building UAT Test Scenarios and Test Cases
- Requirement Analysis:
- Review Business requirements, Epics & Features, user stories to understand the business workflows and system behaviour.
- Identify positive, negative, and edge case scenarios.
Scenario Design:
Create end-to-end business scenarios that reflect real-world use cases across Guidewire modules & Digital, Documents.
Test Case Development:
- Break down scenarios into step-by-step test cases with clear expected outcomes.
- Include preconditions, test data requirements, and validation points.
- Use tools like Excel and JIRA for documentation and traceability.
- Walkthroughs with Business Stakeholders - Engaging business stakeholders are essential for validating test coverage and ensuring alignment:
Preparation:
- Schedule walkthrough sessions with business SMEs, product owners (support will be provided by Test Leads).
- Share draft test scenarios and cases in advance for review.
- Present each scenario, explaining the business context, test logic, and expected outcomes.
- Highlight any assumptions, dependencies, or system limitations.
Review & Acceptance:
- Capture stakeholder feedback and adjust scenarios or test cases accordingly.
- Clarify any ambiguities in requirements or workflows.
- Seek sign off or Acceptance (support will be provided by Test Leads)
UAT Execution & Coordination and walkthrough
Execution & Coordination:
- As per execution plan, execute UAT scenarios, defect logging, retesting, capture test results in Jira and mark them for Business Review
- Collaborate with rest of the team members to execute cross-functional testing to ensure smooth test execution.
- Monitor test progress and provide regular status updates to Test Manager
- Raise risks, issues, or dependencies much early in time to mitigate for smoother execution
Walkthrough & Acceptance
- Schedule walkthrough sessions with business SMEs, product owners ( Support will be provided by Test Leads).
- Walkthrough test results captured per scenario/case
- Resolve any clarifications on test results or on expected system behaviour (by liaising with BAs, POs)
- Seek sign off on test scenarios & cases (support will be provided by Test Leads)
Defect Management
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA
- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Attend defect triages and be vocal during the meetings to clarify any Qs from Developers or BAs or POs
- Validate defect fixes and perform regression testing.
