Delivery Lead-Software Engineer

Job Purpose

As a key member of the DTS team, you will primarily collaborate closely with a leading global hedge fund on data engagements. Contribute to a variety of Development initiatives, focusing on cloud migration, automation, and application development, delivering scalable, efficient, and secure solutions, implementing DevOps best practices in multi-cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications using .NET, SQL Server, and Cloud technologies.
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions leveraging modern cloud and container platforms.
• Drive application deployment, automation, and operational excellence through CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
• Build and manage cloud-native solutions across Azure and AWS environments.
• Develop robust integration frameworks using REST APIs, Azure Service Bus, and Kafka.
• Ensure application reliability, scalability, and performance through effective monitoring, caching, and optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Lead technical reviews, enforce engineering standards, and mentor development teams to drive continuous improvement.
  
  

Key competencies

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in C#, .NET, SQL Server, REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on expertise in Azure and/or AWS Cloud Platforms.
• Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, including Azure Service Bus and Kafka.
• Knowledge of application performance tuning, caching strategies, monitoring, and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineering teams.
