Qualification: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Job Description:-

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Including but not limited to:Must have lead a team of software engineers to develop best technical / functional designInstil best practices for software development and documentation, assure design meet requirements and deliver high-quality work on tight scheduledMust have experience working either on Insurance domain or Full stack/Java/Web App development in the pastAbility to ascertain distributed application architecture challenges and apply thoughts to solve the problem Well versed with AMS project execution and SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, KanbanUnderstanding of Cloud and DevOps best practices will be added advantageHold regular technical meetings to determine progress and address any question, concerns or challenges regarding the projectDemonstrate strong analytics skills and drive data driven decisionBe able to generate reports addressing stakeholders asksLead internal and external meetings and assist with determination of project requirements, daily status updates and project management summaryPlan and implement project governance through daily stand ups, escalation matrix, communication plan, risk registers, issues trackerAdept in Project management tools like JIRA, Team Forge, ConfluenceEstablish and implement training practices for all the staffBeing able to work directly with the customer project team in project planning and execution until the engagement is handed over from project phase to BAU/Service Management phaseFollow-up and collate project related updates on an ongoing basis throughout the project by working collaboratively with other teams

  • Including but not limited to:Quality and accuracy of meeting minutesQuality and clarity of project related communications (both internal and external)Being able to manage overall service delivery processes during project phase and in BAU phaseTimeliness in submission of status reports and other documentation (within agreed deadlines)Maintenance of Project and BAU tasks within Project Plan and JIRABeing able to manage multiple projects running concurrently, along with day-to-day management of BAU operational activities for customers in production Effective adaption of governance processes and standard templates and procedures Management/resolution of Project Administration queries

  • Qualifications
  • Graduate, Post Graduate Degree or DiplomaFoundational skills in Project Management understanding and experience of implementing projects using Agile methodologyFoundational skills in Operations and Service Delivery ManagementFormal PRINCE2, PMP, SCRUM qualification and experience is an added advantageInsurance industry knowledge and experience (preferred, but not mandatory)Hands-on work experience in technical or functional fieldValid Indian Passport
  • Experience
  • At least 10 years combined experience in either Information Technology, Consulting, Insurance Industry or Financial ServicesAt least 3-5 years combined experience as a Technical Lead, Domain Lead or Project Delivery Lead.Ability to communicate at all levels underpinned by strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)Strong organisational skills including time management, team coordination, resource planning and meeting coordinationDemonstrable experience in a Supervisory or Management roleKnowledge of project management, control and reporting tools such as MS Project, JIRA and ExcelProven financial acumen in expense tracking, invoice preparation/payment including some knowledge of basic procurement guidelinesKnowledge and use of collaborative tools such as Confluence and SharePoint for document sharing, management, storage/archivalExperience with presentation tools such MS Project, Powerpoint and/or Visio
