Role Summary & Role Description:

The Delivery Lead is responsible for end-to-end delivery of data engineering initiatives, providing strong technical design and implementation leadership, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Leads engineering teams to design and implement solutions, integrate platforms, and manage delivery, support, and stakeholder coordination in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of data engineering programs including planning, execution, and governance.
• Manage stakeholder communication, reporting, and risk mitigation.
• Lead global teams across geographies and ensure delivery predictability and quality outcomes.
• Drive capability building, team mentoring, and performance management.
• Ensure adherence to governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.

Data Engineering Leadership (Primary Skills):

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Spark.
• Build ETL/ELT frameworks using Python, SQL, and cloud-native tools.
• Define data models and implement data governance, lineage, and metadata frameworks.
• Optimize data processing performance and cost on cloud platforms.
• Strong experience in Data Engineering and Big Data ecosystems.
• Hands-on expertise in Databricks, Spark, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
• Exposure to data governance and regulatory reporting environments.
• Experience working in global, distributed teams.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Min 15-18 years of experience in technology delivery with at least 8+ years in leadership roles.
