What would you do The role holder will be responsible for Leading the Overall Service delivery for client across Settlements and Asset servicing including transversal services like reconciliations and static covering a variety of financial products across European and/or US Markets. Role holder is expected to transform and create a very Client focused data driven efficient organization. Data driven Organization : The role holder shall have a Data driven approach to review all the key Metrics produced, along with other senior management and use this information to predict trends and spikes in work volumes to plan the strategy and resourcing of their areas. In addition the role holder will build strong cross departmental relationships and ensure all risk and control functions are adhered to. Efficiency & Innovation : The role holder shall be responsible for driving process improvements and synergies on an ongoing basis and will liaise with global and local change teams to drive efficiency and innovation for existing and new markets and will monitor trends to make the processing of business more scalable within their budgeted headcount. The role holder will have accountability for elements of their budget and will work with the business to meet any budgetary or headcount challenges without degradation to service.. The role holder shall be responsible for improving the Straight Through Processing (STP) by working with the team leads to identify root causes for exceptionsnand driving out inefficiencies. Client at the Centre : The role holder shall have strong client focus and should be able to put customer satisfaction first. He/She should have a track record of maintaining effective customer relations and service program through delivery of SLAs. He/She should be an expert communicator with ability to influence large cross functional groups/forums as well external stakholders. He/She would be expected to collaborate internally across the organization as well with client to deliver on Business objectives. The role holder shall lead with innovation and data driven mindset

  • Should have Led a 700-900 + member Team covering various functions within Post Trade processing for at least 3-4 years handling CXO level stakeholders
  • Should have extensive experience in Capital markets especially leading front to back Securities settlements and asset serving with deep domain understanding of Corporate actions
  • Should have led & managed Operations transformation and change at scale including Gen AI, Workflow Orchestration, RPA, data analytics, workflow etc and have good track record of driving productivity and efficiency within the Organization
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of various risks associated with Settlement , Corporate action ( Mandatory /voluntary) , Income , claims & impact of process inefficiencies & inaccuries to these risks
  • Strong risk background /culture with ability to identify future risk
  • Detailed oriented in order to avoid, eliminate & mitigate risk
  • Experience of thorough contingency planning to ensure strong resiliency
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of operartional front to back procedures that support IB Securties business as well securities product
  • Ability to define & implement excel risk metrics to ensure process is tracked successfully Roles and Responsibilities: Organization: Redefine Operating Model
  • Create a strategic thinking & vision around defining a Target state organization with the Optimum Operating Model
  • Create a strong partnership model with the Bank & other key stakeholders to transform the organization from a Service Provider to a Partner to the Bank
  • Create a Data driven organization with strong governance Top down to review Business risk and drive the team towards efficiency & Innovation
  • Create a very strong BAU Team and imbibe a culture of innovation & change at all Levels
  • Set up the Change The Bank Team within the Operations organization which should focus on bringing the best industry trends into the operating model People: Highly Motivated & Energized Team
  • Overall responsible for a 700-800 member team to ensure the Team is set up with the right pyramid, skillsets and diversity across Levels.
  • Define key Objectives & KPIs for each of the Teams within the organization & provide the right guidance & leadership to enable the Teams to achieve these KPIs
  • Provide strategic thinking to the APTP Leadership on how the productivity across Levels can be improved through restructuring , engagement etc. Process: Build Efficiency & Innovation
  • Run The Bank : Create an environment of very strong Governance with a clear direction of driving efficiency & managing client expectations & KPIs within the organization across various processes e.g. Fails across products, Breaks, Exceptions and Client account Breaches at BAU Levels. Review the way processes are conducted to come up with a plan of making the organization profitable by driving standardization, industrialization and automation.
  • Change the Bank : Set up a New Change the Bank organization within the group to drive & manage a Change & Innovation Roadmap. Work very closely with Senior Bank stakeholders to drive this journey together and build a partnership with the Bank.
  • Provide a direction to both Run the Bank and Change the Bank organization to move towards a data driven approach to manage client expectation as well as have the right operational Control. Client: Customer at the Centre
  • Build a strategic partnership with Senior Client Stakeholder to co-create a path of Running the organization with absolutely no complaints around Service Delivery.
  • Build a culture of proactively reporting the Good as well as Bad news to the client. Help in moving the firm from a reactive to a more Leading approach Financials
  • Work with Leads to manage budget & address budgetary challenges, Any Graduation,Master of Business Administration
