Your Role And Responsibilities

IBM Technology Expert Labs – India Centre of Excellence (CoE) is seeking an experienced Delivery Consultant – MAS / Maximo Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join the Expertise Connect (EC) subscription delivery team. The Expertise Connect – MAS SME is responsible for delivering proactive, high‑value technical advisory and lifecycle support to clients using IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) across cloud, containerised, and SaaS-based platforms. As part of the India CoE, you will work with global customers and IBM teams, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring consistent, high‑quality delivery.

Who You Are

  • Takes ownership of subscribed service delivery, act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC)
  • Provide proactive assistance to help clients sustain and optimize their IBM Software infrastructure by providing best practice advisory and guidance.
  • Coordinates delivery of proactive support, skill sharing activities and problem management.
  • Provides clients with the highest level of remote and/or on-site technical direction for specific supported products, including initiatives such as diagnostic coaching, defect and non-defect problem resolution assistance

Summary

Required technical and professional expertise

  • 8+ years Industry experience
  • 5+ years in customer‑facing consulting or SME roles (TAM / Support /Advisory experience preferred)
  • Strong collaboration skills with customers, internal and external global stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience on one or more of IBM MAS Offerings (MAS Manage, Monitor, Health, Predict, MVI, Mobile)
  • Experience in Maximo to MAS migration and modernisation engagements
  • Working experience on RHOCP

Required Professional And Technical Expertise

  • 8+ years Industry experience
  • IBM MAS 9.x or IBM Maximo Certified Deployment Consultant (V7 or above)
  • Experience of solution design, deployment within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) domain
  • IBM Maximo Consultancy and hands on experience of 7+ years
  • Expertise in Maximo System administration and configuration modules, workflow development, Security groups and role‑based access etc.
  • Serve as primary contact for Maximo EAM System Users and IT support.
  • Experience in test and verify fixes/patches to Maximo EAM System.
  • Monitor Maximo EAM System performance; troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Support all Maximo environments, including testing, development, pre-prod, training, and production.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud deployments on OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Operating System: Knowledge of UNIX/Linux platforms
  • Database: Knowledge of DB2 is plus
  • Familiarity with full software development life cycle (SDLC): Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Deploying, Training, Maintaining and Operational Support.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and SRE principles
  • Familiar with Application Performance Monitoring
