Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Delegate Sales Manager role based in Bengaluru South. The Delegate Sales Manager will identify, contact, and engage potential delegates for conferences and events through calls, emails, social platforms, and networking. The role involves building and managing a robust sales pipeline, qualifying leads, understanding client needs, and presenting event value propositions to drive delegate registrations. The Delegate Sales Manager will negotiate participation, manage registration targets, and maintain accurate records in CRM tools and internal databases. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with marketing and event teams on campaigns, providing feedback on delegate trends, preparing regular sales reports, and supporting onsite delegate engagement and relationship management during events. The role also includes researching new markets, nurturing long-term relationships with key decision-makers, and representing ConFex Meet in a professional and consultative manner.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in delegate sales, conference sales, inside sales, or B2B sales, preferably within events, conferences, or related industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage senior professionals and decision-makers.
  • Comfort with high-volume outreach (phone, email, and digital channels) and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales and registration targets.
  • Experience using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools to manage pipelines, forecasts, and sales data.
  • Solid research and market-mapping skills to identify target audiences, industry segments, and new business opportunities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing, operations, and event production teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple events, markets, and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in an on-site, office-based environment in Bengaluru South, with occasional flexibility for event schedules.
  • Interest in the events and conference industry, and an understanding of client-centric, ethical, and inclusive business practices.
