Role Description The Delegate Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for driving delegate registrations for Scribe Minds & Media's conferences and forums. Day-to-day, this role involves researching target markets, sourcing and qualifying potential delegates, and conducting outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings to present event value propositions. The Executive will nurture relationships with decision-makers, maintain accurate records in CRM systems, and collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales outreach with campaign activities and event timelines. The role includes meeting and exceeding sales targets, preparing regular sales reports and forecasts, and gathering market feedback to enhance delegate offerings and event positioning. The Delegate Sales Executive is expected to represent the company professionally, with a strong focus on customer experience and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, negotiation, and closing.
  • Candidates should possess excellent communication abilities, including clear verbal communication, professional email writing, and confident presentation skills.
  • Candidates should possess relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust, handle objections, and maintain long-term client engagement.
  • Candidates should possess research and analytical skills to identify target audiences, understand industry trends, and analyze delegate needs.
  • Candidates should possess CRM and data management skills, with familiarity in using sales tools, maintaining accurate records, and tracking pipelines.
  • Relevant experience in B2B events, conferences, media, or technology-driven industries is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet targets, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
