Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Delegate Acquisition Sr Exec/AM role based in Mumbai. The role is responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing senior-level delegates for Alden Global's conferences, roundtables, webinars, and other events. Day-to-day activities include researching target accounts and decision-makers, building contact lists, and conducting outreach via phone, email, and social platforms to explain event value propositions and drive registrations. The role involves managing and nurturing a delegate pipeline, tracking progress, and collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and event production teams to align delegate profiles with event themes and sponsor objectives. The Delegate Acquisition Sr Exec/AM will also gather feedback from delegates, support on-site or live event coordination as needed, and provide regular reporting on delegate engagement and conversion metrics.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in delegate acquisition, inside sales, business development, or event sales, preferably in B2B technology or professional services.
  • Strong research and prospecting skills, including the ability to identify and qualify senior decision-makers (CXOs, VPs, Directors) in target industries.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with confident telephone, email, and virtual meeting etiquette.
  • Proficiency with CRM or lead management tools, along with basic skills in using LinkedIn and other digital platforms for outreach.
  • Ability to work with event and marketing teams to align delegate profiles with event objectives and sponsor expectations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfort working with activity and performance targets, and using data to track progress and improve conversion rates.
