Position Overview
The Defensive AI & AI Governance Analyst / Senior Engineer will support the implementation of AI governance frameworks, AI risk assessments, and defensive security controls for enterprise AI environments. The role involves securing AI systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, assessing AI risks, and collaborating with business and technical teams to establish responsible AI practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of AI Governance frameworks and policies.
- Perform AI risk assessments and identify security, privacy, and compliance risks.
- Assess AI applications for security vulnerabilities and governance controls.
- Assist in developing AI security standards, policies, and operational procedures.
- Monitor AI systems for misuse, data leakage, and emerging security threats.
- Collaborate with Security, Risk, Compliance, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
- Support implementation of Responsible AI principles across enterprise projects.
- Evaluate AI models for fairness, explainability, and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to AI security architecture reviews and governance initiatives.
- Prepare documentation, audit evidence, and governance reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Risk, Governance, AI Security, or Information Security.
- Understanding of AI Governance and Responsible AI concepts.
- Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals and enterprise AI applications.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, risk management, and security controls.
- Understanding of AI security risks including prompt injection, model abuse, data leakage, adversarial attacks, and model integrity.
- Knowledge of governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, or similar standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Good to Have (Preferred Skills)
- Experience with Generative AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, or Google Vertex AI.
- Knowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Familiarity with data governance and privacy regulations (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Experience with AI security testing or model validation.
- Relevant certifications in Cybersecurity, Risk, AI, or Cloud Security.
