About the Role:
We are looking for highly skilled Biology / Life Sciences experts to work as Deep Research Annotators on advanced annotation and RLHF projects. In this role, you will review, analyze, and annotate complex biological and life sciences content such as research papers, experimental designs, datasets, and scientific reasoning. Your annotations and structured feedback will help train AI models to reason more accurately about biological systems, experimental validity, data interpretation, and scientific rigor across domains including molecular biology, genomics, bioinformatics, and biomedical research.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Review and annotate biology and life sciences research content for RLHF and AI training datasets
- Evaluate scientific reasoning, hypothesis formulation, and logical consistency in research narratives
- Annotate correct vs incorrect interpretations of biological data, experimental results, and conclusions
- Assess experimental design, controls, methodologies, and reproducibility considerations
- Review and validate use of biological terminology, pathways, mechanisms, and models
- Analyze data interpretation involving omics data, statistical results, and biological significance
- Ensure annotations are precise, consistent, and aligned with defined scientific and quality guidelines
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and data teams to improve dataset quality.
Required Skills & Experience
- Advanced academic or professional background in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields
- Strong understanding of core biological disciplines such as molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, and biochemistry
- Experience reading, analyzing, and reviewing peer-reviewed scientific literature
- Familiarity with experimental techniques, lab workflows, and biological data analysis
- Ability to evaluate statistical reasoning and data interpretation in biological studies
- Strong scientific writing, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Comfort working with complex technical content and producing structured annotations
- Experience in genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, or computational biology is a strong plus
- Prior experience in research, peer review, or scientific annotation is preferred
