Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madurai for a Debt Collector. The Debt Collector will be responsible for managing outstanding payments by contacting clients through phone or email, negotiating repayment plans, resolving customer queries related to debts, maintaining accurate records of collections, and collaborating with the finance team. The role also requires adhering to compliance standards and ensuring professionalism in all customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Debt Collection and Cash Collection processes
- Strong Communication skills, including active listening and negotiation abilities
- Basic Computer Literacy with familiarity in relevant software for data entry and record-keeping
- Understanding of Finance principles related to debt recovery
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a debt collection role is advantageous
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in finance or related fields are a plus
