About the Role

The Dean will provide strategic leadership to the School of Management, driving academic excellence, research, innovation, industry engagement, and student success while contributing to the University's vision of becoming a leading center for management education.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for all Management programs.
- Lead curriculum design, review, and enhancement in alignment with industry trends and global business practices.
- Promote excellence in teaching, research, consultancy, and executive education.
- Drive accreditation, quality assurance, rankings, and academic governance initiatives.
- Develop and strengthen partnerships with corporate organizations, industry bodies, and academic institutions.
- Foster industry-integrated learning through internships, live projects, corporate interactions, and placement initiatives.
- Encourage research publications, case study development, consultancy assignments, patents, and funded projects.
- Mentor faculty members and support professional development initiatives.
- Enhance student employability, entrepreneurship, leadership skills, and overall academic experience.
- Represent the School of Management at academic, corporate, and professional forums.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Master's Degree in Management (MBA/PGDM) or a relevant discipline with an excellent academic record.
- Strong track record of research publications, academic contributions, consultancy assignments, and institutional development.
- Demonstrated experience in academic administration and strategic leadership.
Preferred Experience
- 15+ years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration in higher education.
- Experience in senior academic leadership positions such as Dean, Director, Professor, Associate Dean, or Head of Department.
- Proven experience in accreditation processes, rankings, quality assurance, and outcome-based education.
- Strong corporate network and experience in industry-academia collaboration.
