Dean (Interior Design)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dean (Interior Design) located in Gandhinagar. The Dean will be responsible for providing academic leadership and strategic direction to the Interior Design department. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing curriculum development, fostering a collaborative learning environment, mentoring faculty, ensuring program quality, and engaging with industry partners. The Dean will also lead accreditation processes, manage departmental resources, and participate in academic governance.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Interior Design and academic leadership
• Must have atleast 12-15 years of experience in Interior Design
• Strong skills in curriculum development and program management
• Experience in mentoring and faculty development
• Proficiency in establishing and maintaining industry partnerships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead accreditation processes
• Experience in managing departmental resources
• Doctorate degree in Interior Design from India or outside India
• Prior experience in an academic leadership role is highly desirable
