About the Role

Magi Metals Trading Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Dealing Desk Associate to join our Precious Metals Trading team in Kochi.

The ideal candidate should have experience in trading operations, order execution, market monitoring, and risk management, with a strong understanding of global financial markets and precious metals.

Key Responsibilities

• Trade Execution: Execute buy and sell orders for precious metals and commodities accurately and efficiently.
• Order Management: Monitor trading orders, track execution status, and ensure timely processing.
• Market Analysis: Follow global gold, silver, commodity, and currency markets and provide relevant market insights.
• Client & Broker Coordination: Communicate with clients, brokers, and internal teams regarding trading activities and order status.
• Risk Management: Monitor open positions, trading exposure, and compliance with internal risk policies.
• Trading Platform Monitoring: Ensure smooth functioning of trading systems and coordinate the resolution of technical issues.
• Daily Reconciliation: Reconcile trading accounts, transactions, deposits, withdrawals, and balances.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate trade records and prepare daily trading and management reports.
• Global Market Awareness: Stay updated on international economic developments, central bank decisions, geopolitical events, and their impact on precious metals.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Commerce, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a commodity trading firm, commercial brokerage, precious metals trading, or financial markets.

Familiarity with trading platforms and financial software.

Good understanding of gold, silver, and international financial markets.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent English communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and make timely decisions.
