Job Description

Maybank Singapore is seeking a driven and commercially minded professional to join our Global Markets Treasury Sales team.

The Opportunity

As part of our Global Markets Sales team, you will play a key role in expanding our treasury business by identifying opportunities, developing trusted client partnerships and delivering tailored treasury and risk management solutions to corporate clients.

You will work closely with Trading, Structuring, Research, Risk and Product teams to provide clients with holistic solutions across foreign exchange, interest rates and other treasury products, helping them navigate market volatility and achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with corporate and institutional clients, serving as a trusted advisor on treasury and financial market solutions
  • Identify business opportunities and proactively originate treasury-related mandates
  • Structure and deliver tailored hedging and risk management solutions aligned to clients needs
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from client engagement and solution structuring to execution and post-transaction servicing
  • Monitor financial markets, macroeconomic developments and industry trends to provide timely market insights to clients
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Trading, Structuring, Research, Risk and Product teams to deliver seamless client solutions
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal governance standards

Requirements

  • A good degree with 3 to 7 years of experience in Treasury Sales, Financial Markets or other client-facing capital markets roles
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, treasury products, hedging solutions and risk management strategies
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and their implications on client activities
  • Passion for financial markets, macroeconomic developments and market-driven opportunities
  • Strong communication, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commercially driven, results-oriented and highly client-centric
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
