Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute Deal Analyst to join our Financial Services SBU Pricing Team. The role involves partnering with business units to support financial deal structuring, ensuring customer value, competitive pricing, margin optimization, and adherence to internal financial compliance and governance.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with bid teams to develop robust financial and operational models aligned with client requirements and proposed solutions.
  • Partner with sales teams to perform scenario analysis, benchmarking, and competitiveness assessments of deal pricing.
  • Act as a liaison between business and finance, ensuring accurate financial assumptions, optimal margins, cash flow, and risk management.
  • Evaluate deal structures, pricing models, and revenue recognition methods in compliance with financial standards (including IFRS 15).
  • Conduct financial risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure sustainable profitability.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive financial analyses and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Work efficiently within project timelines and collaborate with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support business decisions through strong analytical insights, commercial reasoning, and data-driven recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • CA or MBA (Finance specialization mandatory).
  • Strong finance acumen with deep understanding of financial metrics, deal structuring, and risk management.
  • Expertise in pricing models, revenue recognition approaches, and financial forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced level) for complex financial modelling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and commercial awareness skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, including the capacity to convey financial insights to non-financial teams.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Flexibility in working hours; willingness to travel when required.
