Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Data Solution Architect with strong expertise in
modern data platforms including Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, and enterprise data modeling. The candidate will be responsible for
designing scalable data architectures, guiding engineering teams, and supporting business intelligence and analytics solutions.
The role also requires
stakeholder engagement, solution design, and project delivery oversight, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategies.
Key Responsibilities Data Architecture & Solution Design
- Design and implement scalable data architecture using Databricks, Snowflake, and modern data stack technologies.
- Define data ingestion, transformation, and data consumption architectures.
- Architect data lakehouse and data warehouse solutions for enterprise analytics.
- Design batch and real-time data pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
- Provide guidance on data modeling strategies including dimensional modeling and data vault approaches.
Platform & Technology Leadership
- Lead implementation of Databricks Lakehouse architecture.
- Design optimized Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
- Implement data transformation frameworks using DBT.
- Define best practices for data engineering, governance, and security.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and cost optimization of data platforms.
Data Modeling & BI Enablement
- Design enterprise data models (star schema, snowflake schema, dimensional models).
- Enable data platforms to support BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Collaborate with business teams to translate analytics requirements into scalable data models.
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management
- Work with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define solution roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership to data engineering teams.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and solution governance.
- Ensure delivery alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Support program management activities such as sprint planning, risk management, and technical reviews.
Data Governance & Best Practices
- Implement data governance, lineage, and security frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with data quality, data cataloging, and metadata management standards.
- Establish CI/CD and DevOps practices for data engineering pipelines.
Required Skills Core Technologies
- Databricks (Lakehouse architecture, Spark, Delta Lake)
- Snowflake Data Warehouse
- DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformations
- Advanced SQL and data pipeline design
- Data Modeling (Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
Data Engineering
- Experience building large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Knowledge of data lake and data warehouse architectures.
- Experience with batch and streaming data pipelines.
Cloud Platforms
Experience With At Least One Cloud Platform
BI & Analytics
- Strong understanding of data consumption for BI platforms such as:
Programming / Tools
- Python or Scala for data processing
- Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Data orchestration tools (Airflow / ADF / Prefect)
Leadership & Project Management Skills
- Experience in solution architecture and technical leadership.
- Exposure to Agile delivery models and sprint planning.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Experience supporting program management and delivery governance.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing Lakehouse architecture using Databricks.
- Knowledge of data governance tools and frameworks.
- Exposure to data catalog and lineage tools.
- Experience in enterprise data platform modernization projects.
