DBT Engineer

Description

We are looking for a skilled DBT Engineer to join our data team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data transformation workflows using DBT, ensuring high data quality and efficiency in our data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data transformation workflows using DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
• Optimize existing DBT models and ensure efficient data processing.
• Implement and maintain version control and documentation for DBT projects.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the DBT workflows and data pipelines.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience with DBT and its functionalities.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
