  • Excellent knowledge for Performance Tuning
  • Database Sizing and Capacity Planning
  • Database Creation and DBM & DB CFG setting
  • Locking Concept
  • Security & Authentication
  • Well verse with physical & Logical Database partitioning features
  • Strong Knowledge in Database backup & restoration
  • Strong knowledge of db2pd, snapshot monitors & event monitor tool for troubleshooting.
  • Should have in depth knowledge to find the slow response of servers, database etc.
  • Strong communication skills and good follow-ups.
  • Strong knowledge for data movement tools.
  • Good knowledge of federated database.
  • Good knowledge on shell scripting
