- DB2 UDB Installation & Applying fixpak
- Excellent knowledge for Performance Tuning
- Database Sizing and Capacity Planning
- Database Creation and DBM & DB CFG setting
- Locking Concept
- Security & Authentication
- Well verse with physical & Logical Database partitioning features
- Strong Knowledge in Database backup & restoration
- Strong knowledge of db2pd, snapshot monitors & event monitor tool for troubleshooting.
- Should have in depth knowledge to find the slow response of servers, database etc.
- Strong communication skills and good follow-ups.
- Strong knowledge for data movement tools.
- Good knowledge of federated database.
- Good knowledge on shell scripting
