DB2 Database Migration Lead_Chennai/Bangalore/Pune_8 to 12 yrs

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement DB2 LUW database architectures for enterprise workloads.
• Set up and configure DB2 LUW on Azure (IaaS).
• Lead JDs from DB2 on AIX to DB2 LUW and Azure.
• Perform database performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Define backup, recovery, and high‑availability solutions (HADR).
• Ensure database security, compliance, and operational governance.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to support delivery.

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with IBM DB2 (AIX & LUW).
• Proven experience migrating DB2 from AIX → Linux (LUW) and/or cloud.
• Experience deploying and managing DB2 on Azure Virtual Machines.
• Skills in performance tuning, SQL optimization, and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of Azure services (VMs, Storage, Backup, ASR, Monitoring).
• Scripting experience (Shell, PowerShell, or Python).
