GeoIQ is a product developed by data scientists for data scientists. We obtain, visualize, and analyze data from heterogeneous sources to build smarter variables that aid decision-making. As a part of the data science team, you will be responsible for building predictive models and day-to-day analysis for our clients, building algorithms on the data collected from hundreds of sources to build location-defining attributes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the data science team to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure its accuracy and suitability for analysis.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to automate data ingestion and transformation processes.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights in large datasets.
- Utilize statistical techniques to perform data analysis and generate actionable insights for clients.
- Build and implement predictive models using machine learning algorithms to support decision-making processes.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate analysis results and findings effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Continuously improve data quality, data integrity, and data security practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data analysis and machine learning.
- Assist in the development and improvement of GeoIQ's location AI platform through data-driven insights.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas and solutions.
Requirements
- Proficient in Python.
- Experience with R is a plus.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and draw insightful observations.
- Work experience of 1+ years with at least 6 months working with Python.
- Prior experience with data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Prior experience with SQL.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques.
- Experience with working on Spatial Data will be an added advantage.
