Job Summary:

The DataStage Developer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage. The role ensures smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading from various source systems into data warehouses, leveraging strong SQL skills for data validation, performance tuning, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs using IBM DataStage
Extract data from diverse sources and transform it per business rules
Write and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation and analysis
Conduct unit testing and validate data integrity throughout ETL processes
Collaborate with business analysts and data architects to understand requirements
Monitor ETL performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
Maintain job schedules and workflows for production data pipelines
Document ETL design, mappings, and operational procedures
