Datastage ETL Engineer

• Analyzing the requirements provided by clients and preparing Design documents.
• Responsible in preparing the Technical Specifications with the new functionality that must be implemented for the Impacted Programs.
• Performing all the Implementation activities.
• Developing automated scripts for Support/monitoring production activities.
• Mentoring team members including ensuring in time quality deliveries and providing guidance in technical and business aspects and giving optimum solution to all the issues.
• Gathering requirements in business terms from the client and translating them into technical terms.
• Handling the Supports activities such as Incidents, Service requests and Problem records and delivering in timelines.
• Providing on call support for Production requests.
• Unit, System testing & coordinating with the testing team and resolving the issues, if any.
• Documentation of the entire project process flow from end to end.
• Performing Peer review and identifying defects in testing.
• Providing project related training for new resources.
• Preparing various knowledge documents through which a fresh associate resource could catch up things in an easy and faster way.
• Defect prevention analysis at application level to reduce repetitive number of issues.

• Db2 Flex / DB2 Database

• ITIL Process
• Good to have AWS Cloud knowledge and Bank domain knowledge
