Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in SQL Unix Shell Scripting Data Warehousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. Proficiency in English is a must.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions to meet business requirements.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Provide technical expertise in SQL and Unix Shell Scripting to optimize data processing workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources using IBM Infosphere Datastage.
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts to support data integration and transformation tasks.
- Ensure the scheduling and execution of data processing jobs are performed efficiently and reliably.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data warehousing systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Implement best practices for data management and governance to maintain high data quality standards.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of data warehousing solutions to align with evolving business needs.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster their technical growth.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Document technical specifications and processes to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data warehousing practices.
Qualifications
- Possess strong technical skills in SQL Unix Shell Scripting Data Warehousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL Data Integration PL/SQL and IBM Infosphere Datastage.
- Have a solid understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in developing and maintaining ETL processes.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Show excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
- Have experience in the Finance & Accounting domain is a plus.
- Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model with minimal supervision.
- Display a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
