Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Dataiku Platform Administrator / Engineer with strong expertise in
Dataiku DSS, enterprise data platforms, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
end-to-end administration, performance optimization, security, compliance, and automation of the Dataiku platform, ensuring high availability and scalability across environments.
Key Responsibilities
Dataiku Platform Administration
- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Dataiku DSS instances across Dev / QA / UAT / Prod environments.
- Manage code migrations, project deployments, and environment synchronization.
- Monitor platform health including CPU, memory, disk usage, job execution, and scheduling.
- Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for large-scale data workloads.
Security, Access & Governance
- Administer users, groups, roles, permissions, and impersonation rules in Dataiku DSS and Govern modules.
- Implement and enforce security best practices aligned with enterprise standards.
- Ensure platform compliance with SOX, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Manage audit logs, access reviews, and governance controls.
Cloud, DevOps & Infrastructure Collaboration
- Collaborate with Cloud and DevOps teams for:
- Infrastructure provisioning (VMs, containers, storage)
- Backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies
- Network configuration and security controls
- Support deployments on AWS / Azure / GCP environments.
Automation & Operational Excellence
- Develop automation scripts for:
- User onboarding and provisioning
- Environment setup and configuration
- Scheduling, patching, and upgrades
- Platform monitoring and alerts
- Integrate Dataiku administration with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
Support, Enablement & Documentation
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for Dataiku users and data science teams.
- Troubleshoot platform, job execution, and connectivity issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer for internal teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills
- 610+ years of experience in Dataiku DSS administration and enterprise data platforms
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Dataiku installation, upgrades, patching, and migrations
- User and access management in Dataiku DSS & Govern
- Performance monitoring and system optimization
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix, shell scripting, and system administration
- Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance (SOX, GDPR)
Good-to-Have Skills
- DevOps tools: Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Git
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch
- CI/CD integration with Dataiku
- Exposure to MLOps concepts and workflows
