Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Databricks, Python, PySpark, and AWS or Azure services.
  • Work with batch ETL pipelines; support real-time streaming pipelines where applicable.
  • Develop and optimize data workflows using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL Server, and Data Lakes.
  • Perform data modeling, dimensional modeling, and implement best practices for ETL, data governance, and data warehousing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and solution architects, to deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Mentor, coach, and advise other data engineering professionals on standards, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of datasets and processes to derive actionable insights.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and documentation of data engineering standards and processes.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability of data solutions.
  • Support manipulation, processing, and extraction of value from large, complex datasets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Databricks Developer.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Redshift, Python, PySpark, and AWS.
  • Databricks certification is mandatory.
  • Strong SQL skills, including T-SQL, relational databases, and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, ADF pipelines, SQL Server, and Data Lake integrations.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices, code refactoring, and design patterns in data engineering.
  • Knowledge of advanced data engineering concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Exposure to Boomi is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
