About the role

We are looking for a Hands-on Databricks Solution Architect with strong Data Engineering expertise. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, defining Databricks architecture, and establishing CI/CD and governance best practices. This role requires active hands-on development along with architecture ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Databricks Lakehouse architecture
  

• Build scalable data engineering pipelines using Databricks
  

• Define Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
  

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for Databricks deployments
  

• Develop PySpark and SQL-based transformations
  

• Implement Delta Lake based data models
  

• Design batch and streaming pipelines
  

• Implement Unity Catalog governance model
  

• Optimize Databricks performance and cost
  

• Configure clusters, jobs, workflows and repos
  

• Lead code reviews and architecture reviews
  

• Work closely with business and data teams
  

• Provide hands-on support during development
  

Experience

8–10 years overall experience
Minimum 5+ years hands-on with Databricks
Minimum 2+ years as a Solution Architect

Databrick Certification is Mandatory
